Angel……

Those of you who know me, know about Angel, she is my dear raven friend from the wildlife center I work at. I love her so much, hard to explain the feeling, the deep love for a creature….a love that comes from some unknown place. She has been outside all summer living with Rex, another raven, but she recently had to come back inside because of the cold.

I’m praying for my little Angel today to know that she is in her right place in this world, she has been through so much pain and I don’t want her to feel that anymore, I want her to be free………

Spring in Seattle………..

Finally the sun is out in Seattle and totally staying out, the crows and sparrows are nesting in the backyard, and everyone is happy because for a while the rain is somewhere else……over near the coast or in the mountains….i like it. Here is a picture of my dad a few springs ago at the fair with his very good friend Hazelle and my husband Josh……it’s a good memory, it was hot and dad still had his eyesight, was painting feverishly and had a pretty girl friend on his arm….and yeah, i think we were eating sno cones, what could have been better? I love Seattle……
